s office shows two entries of death the first is the one shown on this t
ree and he was noted as householder. The second is in 1729 on the 23 o
f September it is possible that this too could be our Richard and confir
mation is still to be obtained.
In 1604 on 30 September William Hatch married Jone Ticibicke ar Hurley
. Speculation was this Richards Grandfather?
Hearth tax for 1663 nd 1666 describes Richard as a householder. On bot
h occassions he paid 2/- for 2 hearths.
Around this time thee was a William possibly brother of Richard who marr
ied Elizabeh of unknown name and place. They had 4 children bap at Cookh
am. Ann 1676, Mary b.1678, Elizabeth 1681 and Sarah 1684. No associate
d marriage of death records for this family.
